Mentoring v’s Coaching - is our thinking getting in the way?

We listened to your feedback from the two-day Masterclass with Michael Neil in June and get the feeling that you want more support as coaches. Michael Neill has often been described as the Coach's Coach. He also acts as a mentor for so many of his clients, including Eibhlin Johnston.  During this practical and interactive Hotpot, Eibhlin will share some of the insights she gained from Michael since 2018, when she re-connected with him after 10 years. We will also explore the fine line between Coaching and Mentoring for Coaches and establish the next steps we need as a community to provide continuous support for coaches.

Eibhlin Johnston is an author,  speaker, executive coach, and highly experienced facilitator. She has 30 years experience working in blue-chip organisations across of range of business areas, including strategic change. Eibhlin has 15 years of coaching and training experience across a broad client base. She brings her experience as a senior manager to her training to deliver highly interactive and practical relevant training on a range of topics, including strategic change initiatives, resilience, management skills, and communication. Eibhlin was the leader of the Women’s Network in JP Morgan and was appointed as a senior mentor in the Bank. Her book, Gut Throat Leadership - Bouncing Back is an exploration of leadership and the way we think and lead with resilience. Eibhlin qualified with a BA Hons in Economics in 1990. She has a Diploma in Personal and Executive Coaching, is a Licensed Practitioner of NLP and a facilitator of the iheart Resiliency Training Programme. Eibhlin is certified with the Workplace Resilience and Wellbeing (WRAW) Psychometric Testing.  She is a Senior Practitioner accredited with the EMCC. She also sits on the Council of the EMCC in Ireland.
