Our Vision
To be the ‘go to’ body in mentoring, coaching, and supervision in Ireland..
Who We Are
EMCC Ireland is an independent, impartial and not-for-profit organisation. As a membership community, we work together to maintain, influence, develop and progress high quality standards in coaching and mentoring in Ireland. We support our members across a variety of coaching, mentoring and supervision contexts, including:
- Self-employed and independent practitioners
- Internal coaches and mentors working within organisations
- Training providers and qualification bodies
- Academic institutions and research bodies
We are leading the way in developing standards, ethics and frameworks that enhance professional practice. Through our renowned continuous professional development events and resources, we help elevate the entire profession. All of this is made possible through the dedicated work of our volunteers.
Our Thriving Community
In Ireland, we currently have over 900 individual and corporate members, representing a diverse and growing community that includes:
- Individual coaches, mentors and supervisors
- Public and private organisations (ranging from those with in-house coaching teams to those who procure coaching and mentoring services)
- Training companies and academic institutions
- Research bodies advancing the field
How We're Organised
The work of EMCC Ireland is organised and led by our volunteer Board. Our Board members are passionate professionals who generously donate their time and expertise to ensure that the aims and values of EMCC are maintained and communicated, and that the organisation is run effectively and transparently in the best interests of our members.
