About the Event

This month’s topic “The Science of Effective Coaching” is designed for coaches who want to know how to help their clients through change. This practical and interactive session will also lean on the findings in Celine’s second book Developing Learning Habits (published 2020). This book provides a 7-step process to embedding long-lasting change. Her focus is on providing practical advice, tools, and techniques that can be put into practice immediately.

About Dr. Celine

Celine has over 15 years of experience as a Psychologist, Coach and Training Consultant working across Multinationals, SME’s, Governmental and Educational agencies. She spends most of her time supporting and embedding behavioural change in individuals, teams and organisations.  She founded adaptas™ to put a gigantic spin on more traditional approaches to learning, which she believes often fall short of making real and lasting change happen.  In recent years Celine has gathered her learnings as a psychologist and coach working with people, teams and organisations and published, with Oak Tree Press a series of books called the Maximising Brain Potential Series. The first book Our Learning Brain (published 2018) supports people to understand and overcome blocks to learning and habit change.  The second book Developing Learning Habits (published 2020) provides a 7-step process to embedding long-lasting change. Her focus is on providing practical advice, tools, and techniques that can be put into practice immediately. Celine obtained her BA (Hons) in Psychology at University College Dublin and her Ph.D at Trinity College Dublin. She also has a Certificate in Training and Development, Diploma in Statistics, Diploma in Personal and Executive Coaching, Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming, Certificate in The  Neuroscience of Change,  and is currently studying Transpersonal Leadership Coaching and Leadership Dignity.  Celine teaches the Cognitive Behavioural Coaching Module of the MSc in Personal and Management Coaching, University College Cork (since 2015). Celine regularly facilitates learning amongst various coaching communities and speaks at conferences, webinars and podcasts.

Celine and the team are now running a virtual programme bringing participants through a deep and long-lasting experience of growth in a chosen area of life. This 10-week programme uses all the most up-to-date information at the intersection between psychology, coaching, neuroscience, cognitive science and 15 years of experience at Adaptas.
