About the Event

Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies have been a major driver of technological change over the past decade. Despite its long history going back to the middle of twentieth century, it captured public attention only recently with the advent of self-driving cars and natural language processing systems capable of conversing with the user or drawing realistic images from textual descriptions.

Like any novel technology, AI has potential to both improve and disrupt existing coaching practices and the aim of this talk is to provide a summary of the current state of the art in coaching AI and the challenges that our community will have to inevitably deal with.

This talk will be looking at relevant research and available commercial services and tools that can help improve your coaching by saving time and getting more insight during and after session. It will also discuss ongoing developments, fears and myths surrounding AI and its role in the future of coaching.

Dr. Pavel Gladyshev is an Associate Professor in UCD School of Computer Science and an EMCC Accredited Executive & Career Coach. He is an experienced teacher and conference presenter who spoke about challenges and opportunities of AI at various events, including AI Con, and the Octopus Conference organised by the Council of Europe, among others.

He’s also a member of our volunteer cohort here at EMCC and is a valuable contributor to our events committee.
