Elevating Leadership Through Coaching and Mentoring
This webinar invites participants to explore the essential business need for enhancing leadership capability within organizations. The session will cover the intricacies of designing an internal Coaching and Mentoring Programme that aligns with the EMCC and CIPD professional principles while supporting the strategic priorities of ESB.
The Critical Role of HR
The pivotal role that Human Resources plays in enabling transformative work will be examined. Participants will learn how effective HR strategies can foster a culture of growth and development, ensuring that leaders are equipped to navigate the complexities of today's business landscape.
Beyond the Horizon: Extending Support
This initiative aims to enhance capabilities not only within ESB but also beyond. The session will highlight the commitment to extending support through innovative projects such as the Trailblazer mentoring initiative, delivered via an internal panel. Additionally, there will be a discussion on the leadership role in the mentor programme for 2026 in the Professional Women's Network (PWN).
Participants can expect to gain insights, strategies, and success stories that illustrate the impact of coaching and mentoring on leadership development. This session promises to be informative and engaging, showcasing the importance of professional development in a dynamic and enjoyable manner.
Sinéad Scott. With over 20 years of experience in HR, Sinéad is MCIPD-accredited and holds an Honours Degree in HRM and an MSc in Business Leadership & Management Practice from UCD Smurfit. She has spent 15 years as an HR Business Partner, developing strong expertise in HR best practice, policy, and organisational development.
Sinéad's career has centred on delivering strategic, collaborative HR and L&D support aligned with business priorities. She previously led the design of Management Development initiatives across ESB within the L&D function. Since July 2025, Sinéad has been operating as ESB’s Coaching and Mentoring Programme Manager.
Maria Travers. Maria is a strategic HR leader with over 30 years of experience across ESB, spanning Coaching & Mentoring, HR Business Partnering, Organisational Development & Design, Learning & Development, Programme Design, OD Consultancy in Strategic/Corporate HR, Capability Development, Payroll Transformation, and large-scale change.
Across all her roles, Maria focuses on building systems, frameworks, and environments that enable people to thrive.
