About the Event

Hosted by Anna Springett and Pamela Fay, this masterclass invites participants to a morning of co-inquiry into the professional relationships we hold with our clients.

Every relationship has a shape: a beginning, a middle, and an ending. We often focus on what we do within that shape - the models, tools, and techniques that we use - and pay less attention to how we are within it. How do we come into a relationship, and what part does the way we set it up play in everything that follows? What do we notice in that first meeting, in the space between us and the other person? How are we present once the relationship is under way, and how do we bring it to a close in a way that honours the needs of everyone involved?

Anna and Pamela will each bring a particular area of focus to the session, using these as starting points for a shared exploration rather than a fixed agenda.

As professional supervisors, we are both committed to hosting spaces for reflective practice, and that is very much the spirit of this session.

Come ready to think, experience, question, and reflect. Bring your questions or a live case you would like to think about together, if that is useful to you.

Outcomes/Takeaways for participants:

  • Awareness of beginnings, middles and ends of relationships

  • How to maximise your impact at each stage coaching relationship
